Job Title: Scheduler

Location: Brampton, ON (Remote)

Estimated Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary
Our client is seeking an intermediate-level Scheduler to support a nuclear decommissioning and deconstruction project involving legacy reactor infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, engineering, and decommissioning subject matter experts to develop and maintain project schedules supporting planning and execution activities.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience supporting large-scale industrial or construction projects and demonstrated expertise using Primavera P6. Nuclear experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Coordinate scheduling activities with project managers, engineers, estimators, and technical SMEs
  • Support schedule development for decommissioning and deconstruction activities
  • Track milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and project deliverables
  • Participate in planning sessions and team coordination meetings
  • Identify schedule risks, conflicts, and resource constraints
  • Produce scheduling reports and schedule analysis for leadership review
  • Support execution planning activities related to project sequencing and work breakdown structures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of project scheduling experience on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or construction projects
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Primavera P6 (must-have)
  • Experience supporting complex project environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of construction workflows, sequencing, and execution planning
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Eligibility to obtain Reliability Status clearance
  • Nuclear or deconstruction/decommissioning project exposure considered an asset

Work Model

  • Primarily remote with occasional meetings in Brampton, Ontario
  • Potential limited travel to Chalk River as needed
  • Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$65.00 and CA$75.00
