Job Title: Project Manager I (Damage Prevention Advisor)
Location: North York, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
If you enjoy working with various data types, performing analysis to recommend sound decisions to cross functional teams with a focus on safety and reduction of third-party damages to company assets while working with external partners, we have this role is for you.
As the Advisor, Damage Prevention you will primarily be focused on harvesting vast amounts of locate and damage data while measuring the numerous Damage Prevention initiatives to ensure they are being effective and providing value. This role will also include performing trend analysis and making recommendations to management on the strategic direction of Damage Prevention initiatives to reduce damages. Become a part of an outstanding team focused on ensuring the safety of the company’s assets.
What You Will Do
• Utilize your business intelligence skills to conduct in-depth analysis and provide actionable insights with Damage Prevention data.
• Harvest data and monitor trends related to locates & damage characteristics of excavators to assist with improving the Damage Prevention initiatives.
• Develop reports and management tools by collaborating closely with the business and Damage Prevention teams across the Global Distribution System
• Communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external groups and roles at all levels.
• Interpret internal and external business issues and recommends best practices.
• Solve complex problems by taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
• Contribute to Damage Prevention initiatives focusing on reducing damages, promoting safe excavation practices and enhancing regulatory compliance across Global Distribution System.
Who You Are:
You have the following education and experience:
• Related university degree and four?plus years’ experience OR six?plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and to work independently or in a team environment.
• Demonstrated success in implementing improvements and driving results.
• Exceptional computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI and other performance reporting tools.
• Experience using GIS applications to view and analyze gas networks
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
Following will be preferred skills:
• Experience with process and procedural improvement and change management
