Job Title: Project Manager, Municipal Infrastructure

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week in Etobicoke office)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead municipal roadway and utility infrastructure projects across the Greater Toronto Area. This role combines project delivery, team leadership, and client engagement, making it ideal for a professional engineer who thrives on driving complex infrastructure programs forward.

The successful candidate will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, foster collaboration, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, design, and delivery of road and utility infrastructure projects.

  • Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.

  • Lead preparation of technical proposals and contribute to business development initiatives.

  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and construction personnel to ensure seamless execution.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

  • Conduct project reviews and implement QA/QC processes to ensure compliance.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, supporting their career growth and professional development.

  • Perform site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.


Qualifications & Experience

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field).

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.

  • Proven track record in delivering municipal road and utility infrastructure projects.

  • Knowledge of Ontario design standards, municipal requirements, and environmental regulations.

  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project) and design tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience delivering projects within York Region, Peel Region, or the City of Toronto.

  • Business development or proposal-writing experience.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$140,000 and CA$170,000
