Job Title: Senior Advisor – Project Management
Location: Chatham, ON
Work Model: Hybrid – In office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; remote Wednesday and Friday
Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview:
The Senior Advisor, Project Management is responsible for leading mid- to large-scale projects across their full lifecycle, serving as the connection point between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. The role supports project execution, coordination, and business readiness activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment, minimizing risks, and enabling smooth transitions into operational use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of assigned projects — including planning, design, testing, implementation, and sustainment — to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Identify and manage interdependencies between concurrent initiatives, helping prevent schedule conflicts and supporting risk mitigation strategies.

  • Coordinate change management and employee engagement initiatives to promote adoption of new tools, processes, and systems.

  • Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to leadership and other stakeholders through regular updates and presentations.

  • Provide facilitation, business process knowledge, and project governance support for organizational initiatives as required.

Scope and Impact:
This position has responsibility for project-level decision-making, including issue resolution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The incumbent is expected to collaborate with business subject matter experts and ensure all project deliverables meet readiness criteria before transition.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of progressive experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

  • Experience implementing change management and engagement strategies.

  • Proven ability to lead meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions effectively.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

  • Highly organized with strong analytical and leadership capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, SharePoint).

  • PMP certification and prior operational experience are considered strong assets.

Work Environment:
Hybrid work arrangement combining office and remote days in a typical professional setting.

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$75.00 and CA$90.00
