Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for a Project Manager for their Vancouver location
Overview:
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to oversee various utility capital projects
Role Accountabilities
- Manage assigned projects from planning through implementation, evaluation, and closeout.
- Develop and manage schedules, activity plans, reporting mechanisms, key performance indicators, and contingency plans to support successful delivery.
- Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies, communications materials, and supporting tactics to meet participant and program objectives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, staff, customers, vendors, and partners to resolve issues, provide guidance, and keep projects aligned with objectives.
- Develop and implement project processes, policies, and procedures to support consistent execution.
- Complete supporting activities such as procurement, Privacy Impact Assessments, customer data requests, data analysis, troubleshooting, and resource coordination for evaluation.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering or relevant field
- A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience or equivalent.
- PMP
- Has demonstrated experience managing projects related to risk management and/or projects that involve process change and people impacts.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn multiple program areas and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic understanding of project or program management principles.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with Field Operations, Engineering, Work Delivery, and other stakeholder groups.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$74.50
