Senior Bridge Project Manager
Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid) – 3 days in office
Type: Full-time, permanent
The opportunity
A leading global engineering and infrastructure consultancy is growing its Bridges team in the Greater Toronto Area and looking for a Senior Bridge Project Manager to lead delivery on a varied portfolio of bridge and transportation-structure projects. This is a senior, client-facing role combining hands-on structural leadership with full project ownership – ideal for a chartered engineer who wants to run complex work, develop a design team, and grow key client relationships.
You’d join a well-resourced structures practice with deep bench strength and a strong pipeline of public-sector infrastructure work across Ontario.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading project management and acting as structural lead across multidisciplinary bridge projects — from development, analysis and design through evaluation, inspection and execution.
- Owning delivery to quality, schedule and budget in line with contract requirements.
- Guiding and mentoring a design team of engineers and technicians.
- Serving as a key point of contact for clients and coordinating across disciplines.
- Preparing structural designs, evaluations and contract packages aligned to provincial Ministry (MTO) standards, policies and procedures.
- Supporting proposals and business development, including technical publications and conference participation.
What you’ll bring
- A degree in Civil Engineering (structural major preferred).
- P.Eng registration with PEO (essential).
- PMP designation, with a strong track record in project management.
- 10+ years in the analysis and design of bridges and transportation structures, across a range of complexity, type, size and scope. (Candidates with 15+ years are encouraged to apply and may be considered at the upper end of the range.)
- Solid experience delivering to the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC); familiarity with the AREMA code an asset.
- Experience reviewing condition-survey reports and recommending rehabilitation strategies.
- Proficiency with industry structural tools (e.g., SAP2000, CSI Bridge, MIDAS, STAAD Pro, ETABS) and Bentley ProjectWise.
Assets: railway-structures experience; established relationships with public-sector infrastructure clients; and a background in business development or team leadership.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between ¤130,000 and ¤180,000
