Job Title: Project Coordinator -Security & Emergency Management
Location: Burnaby, BC (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for a Project Coordinator – SEM for their Burnaby location.
Overview:
This resource will Coordinate SEM project intake and project resource assignments
Experience and Role Accountabilities
- administration of SEM PIQ (project information questionnaire) inbox
- completion of initial assessment of PIQ information
- coordinate SEM resources for the final assessment of PIQ
- assign SEM project resources to security-related projects based on the final assessment
- coordinate communication between PIQ requestor and SEM resources
- administer SEM PMO triage SharePoint
- coordinate SEM PMO triage reporting
Education and Skills
- A minimum two (2) years of directly related work experience or equivalent.
- College level program completion in Business, Economics, Communication or related discipline
- Good working knowledge of project management principles
- Intermediate skills in computer applications such as SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)
- experience with share point/Microsoft 365
- A PMP is not a requirement but if they are currently enrolled/pursuing that would be an asset
- Security-related experience is an asset
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$52.50 and CA$65.00
