Job Title: Marketing Specialist (Intermediate)

Location: Calgary, AB (Remote)
    
Estimated Duration: 9 Months

Our client is a leader in the responsible development and reliable and safe operation of North American energy infrastructure. They are one of the continent’s largest providers of gas storage and related services.

They are currently looking for an Marketing Specialist (Intermediate) for their Calgary, AB location.

Key Responsibilities:
 
Content Creation & Production:

• Design and production skills across various mediums, taking projects from early concept to production-ready files.
• Design and produce marketing materials for print and digital platforms.
• Create internal and external-facing content, including PowerPoint presentations, email templates, reports, posters and more.
• Develop and execute outstanding graphic marketing materials, including but not limited to design and layout for print and digital communications, creative proposals, internal marketing graphics, signage, and event collateral.
• Develop social media graphics, web banners, email visuals and infographics.
• Create visual assets for employee events and engagement initiatives.
 
Quality & Standards:
 
• Ensure all materials adhere to established brand guidelines and styles; Adhere to and promote corporate standards of size, color, scheme and style to preserve company branding message.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Create and implement templates for consistent customer proposals.
• Preserve company branding message across all materials.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education & Experience:
 
• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Agency or in-house setting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• SharePoint experience is an asset.
• Basic understanding of digital design best practices (HTML/CSS knowledge beneficial).
• Genuine passion for design excellence.
• Tech-forward mindset with willingness to learn new tools, including AI.
• Exceptional file management and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt creative assets for multiple formats.

Nice to Haves:

• Video and motion graphics experience highly valued.
• Interest/experience in social media marketing.
• Interest/experience in website development and/or content management systems.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$25.00 and CA$27.00
