Job Title: IT Project Manager – Security
Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite)
Estimated Duration: 9 Months
Our client is a leader in the responsible development and reliable and safe operation of North American energy infrastructure, Is looking for a Intermediate IT Project Manager for their Calgary AB office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate field operations for installation of physical security systems and IT hardware across 10 Canadian sites
- Oversee deployment of:
- Video surveillance systems
- Physical access control systems
- Physical security software platforms
- Supporting IT infrastructure and hardware
- Manage on-site contractors, integrators, and technical teams
- Collaborate closely with construction teams during installation phases
- Ensure compliance with oil & gas industry safety standards and site-specific requirements
- Coordinate with Land and Environmental stakeholders where required
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
- Track progress, manage risks, and resolve technical and operational issues in the field
- Ensure installations meet operational, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements
- Report project status to stakeholders and senior leadership
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience managing field-based installation projects involving physical security systems
- Direct hands-on experience installing or overseeing installation of:
- Surveillance technology
- Access control systems
- IT hardware in industrial environments
- Experience working within the Oil & Gas industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT infrastructure and hardware deployment in field or office environments
- Experience coordinating work alongside construction teams
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements in industrial settings
- Ability to manage multiple sites and vendors simultaneously
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$70.00
