Job Title: Inspector C
Location: Cambridge, ON

Position Summary:
A full-time opportunity is available for a qualified individual to join the production team as an Inspector C at a manufacturing facility located in Cambridge, Ontario. This role is essential in supporting high standards of quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery in a technically specialized environment. Team members in this position are expected to carry out non-destructive examinations in accordance with their current certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct non-destructive evaluations (NDE) across various areas of the production floor

Interpret technical documentation such as blueprints and operational procedures

Prepare inspection records and maintain documentation logs

Consistently apply high-quality workmanship and adherence to best practices

Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal departments (including production, engineering, project teams) and client representatives

Follow all applicable safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures

Understand and meet outlined quality standards and productivity benchmarks
Qualifications:
-
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
-
Must currently hold MT Level 2 and PT Level 2 certifications, plus two (2) of the following:
-
CEDO
-
UT CGSB-1
-
RT CGSB-1
-
At least 2 years’ experience in fabrication/machining inspection at a comparable facility
-
5 years’ experience as a fabrication/machining inspector (with documented external verification) or 5 years’ hands-on experience in fitting/welding at a similar organization
-
Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)

Experience working in heavy industry or within a regulated, high-specification environment such as energy production
-
Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset, with a customer-first attitude

Competence in standard computer applications and documentation software
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$100,588.80 and CA$100,588.80
