Job Title: Cost Assurance Specialist
Duration: 12 months contract to start
Location: GTA (Hybrid schedule)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) OR; Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) OR; posses a similar designation or certification
- Relevant certification is not a requirement but preferred;
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
- Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline Or the combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
Required experience:
- Audit engagements of actual cost reimbursement contracting models for large infrastructure projects.
- Development of Audit Plans
- Analysing financial data and performance of vendors.
- Preparing reports and projections based on the analysis.
- Proficiency in use of Oracle Enterprise business and other financial management software.
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Awareness of good practice around corporate governance and assurance
