Job Title: Construction Coordinator
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Tiverton, ON
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational coordination and support to align construction activities with organizational goals.
- Assist in the development and standardization of construction templates and tools to improve program efficiency.
- Recommend and develop construction-related processes, support their implementation including change management, and ensure ongoing maintenance for sustainable results.
- Collaborate with construction and project stakeholders to streamline workflows and create job aids to enhance process adoption and improvements.
- Prepare program-level reports, summaries, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives by interfacing with stakeholders, analyzing findings, and preparing recommendations or alternative options.
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for construction-related processes, coordinate meetings, and manage action items to completion.
- Coordinate and perform support tasks related to construction workflows and processes.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the success of construction programs.
Education & Qualifications:
- Required Education: Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
- Preferred Education: Certifications in process improvement, such as Lean Six Sigma.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Commitment to maintaining a safety-first approach.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Proven experience in process improvement and change management.
- Proficiency in preparing reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction workflows and program management is a plus.
