CMM Training Lead
Accountabilities:
• Accountable for the delivery of the training scope of work and has input to the quality of all training deliverables
• Accountable for the relationship with the vendor’s training lead
• Accountable for the creation and delivery of the training scope of work, including training needs assessment, training curriculum, training plan, development of all materials and job aids, and delivery of training
• Accountable for determining training toolset and templates, ensuring set-up and access, providing guidance on how to use materials
• Accountable for all training scheduling and delivery activities including skill testing, training evaluation, etc., as required for the internal program team and internal end-users via a train-the-trainer approach
• Accountable for securing training environments as required to support end user training delivery
• Consult on, review, and approve training needs assessment, training curriculum, training plan, development of all training materials and job aids created by the vendor; conduct ongoing reviews during development to ensure materials are of the expected quality and meet business needs
• Monitor training activities for effectiveness and rework strategy and plan as necessary
• Help ensure knowledge transfer from program to sustainment resources
• Act as communication focal point for training related items
• Identify program risks and / or issues that potentially impact adoption and sustainment of the solution
• Work closely with Functional team, including business SMEs, as part of the review process by communicating review expectations, managing review cycles and escalating risks/issues proactively
• Secure appropriate program and sustainment training resources
• Support post go live training activities as required
• Lead a team to execute the training plan
Skills:
• 10+ years’ experience with corporate training principles and methodologies, with large-scale organization change initiatives preferred.
• Deep knowledge, understanding and experience in corporate training principles, methodologies and tools. Experience with development of training materials for both instructor-led and e-learning delivery methods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for audiences from front line workers to senior leadership.
• Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
• Ability to deliver tactical components of the training plan.
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
Working Conditions:
• Hybrid, working in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
• Possibility of 15% travel to other locations in Ontario
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$75.00 and CA$95.00
