Description

Rôle
Le Technicien intermédiaire – Électronique numérique occupe un poste de premier niveau parmi les fonctions techniques spécialisées. Il peut nécessiter la supervision de techniciens plus expérimentés ou de membres du personnel technique ou d’ingénierie.
Le technicien intermédiaire en électronique effectuera diverses tâches liées à des systèmes existants ou à de nouveaux projets de complexité faible à moyenne. Il devra travailler à partir d’instructions écrites ou de directives générales et participera aux essais d’unités électroniques et de systèmes complexes.
Responsabilités / Tâches
Sous le mentorat de techniciens plus expérimentés ou de membres du personnel technique, le technicien intermédiaire devra :

  • Programmer des PROM et FPGA.
  • Effectuer des essais sur banc à l’aide de générateurs de signaux, oscilloscopes, sondes différentielles, analyseurs de circuits numériques, analyseurs logiques et d’équipements complémentaires tels que des liaisons série et des sources d’alimentation.
  • Tester des assemblages électroniques à l’aide de différents scripts de test ou de mesures manuelles.
  • Effectuer des essais thermiques et sous vide thermique sur différents sous-assemblages et unités électroniques.
  • Assembler et modifier des circuits électroniques en développement selon des directives précises.
  • Assembler, modifier et vérifier des bancs d’essai et/ou équipements de test.
  • Assembler, modifier et tester des faisceaux de câbles.
  • Consigner les résultats des essais ou des expériences.
  • Installer les assemblages électroniques dans leurs montages d’essai.
  • Participer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue liées aux essais des assemblages électroniques.
  • Suivre et comprendre les processus d’essais de vol.
  • Effectuer le travail conformément aux procédures internes et aux règles de santé et sécurité au travail.
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe.

Profil recherché

  • Débrouillardise.
  • Grande capacité d’adaptation.
  • Solides capacités d’analyse.
  • Capacité à travailler efficacement en équipe.
  • DEC en génie électrique, électronique ou dans un domaine connexe, ou formation équivalente.
  • 2 à 5 ans d’expérience pertinente.
  • Excellente maîtrise du français parlé et écrit.
  • La connaissance de l’anglais constitue un atout, notamment pour répondre aux appels d’employés anglophones et communiquer avec le siège social situé en Ontario.

Role:
The Intermediate Technician – Digital Electronics is the first level of skilled work. He/she may require supervision from more experienced technicians or technical/engineering staff. The Intermediate Electronics Technician will perform a variety of tasks related to established systems or new projects of low to medium complexity. He/she will be required to work from written instructions or general guidelines and participate in the testing of electronic units and complex systems.
Responsibility / Tasks:
Under the mentorship of more experienced technicians or technical staff, the intermediate technician will:
Program PROMs and FPGAs. Perform bench tests with signal generators, oscilloscopes, differential probes, digital circuit analyzers, logic analyzers and complementary equipment (e.g. serial links, power sources, etc.).
Test electronic assemblies using various test scripts or manual measurements.
Carry out thermal and vacuum thermal testing of various electronic subassemblies and units.
Assemble and modify developmental electronic circuits according to specific guidelines.
Assemble, modify and verify test benches and/or test equipment.
Assemble, modify and test cable harnesses. Record test or experiment results.
Install test electronic assemblies in their test jigs.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts relating to the testing of electronic assemblies. Follow and understand flight test processes.
Perform work in accordance with internal procedures and in compliance with our occupational health and safety rules. Perform other related duties.
Required profile:
Resourcefulness Ability to adapt Strong analytical skills Ability to work in a team College diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics or related field 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience Fluency in spoken and written French.
Knowledge of English is an asset (Answers calls from English-speaking employees. Reports directly to the Ontario head office).

Comments/Special Considerations:
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between ¤70,000 and ¤90,000
