Senior Project Manager – Electrical Construction
Location: GTA (But most time will be on site)
In-Office: 5 days (likely 4 on applicable site, and 1 in Office)

Overview
An established electrical contractor delivering large-scale ICI projects is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex builds from pre-construction through to close-out.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage project performance across cost, schedule, safety, and quality while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end execution of electrical construction projects
- Set project objectives, execution plans, and performance benchmarks
- Ensure delivery aligns with contractual, financial, and scheduling targets
Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and resource plans
- Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor coordination
- Monitor progress, productivity, and cost performance
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Review and negotiate change orders and contract adjustments
- Ensure accurate reporting and financial tracking throughout project lifecycle
Risk & Compliance
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and internal processes
- Review contracts and work-in-progress for potential issues
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Provide regular updates on project status and key milestones
- Lead meetings including kick-offs, progress reviews, and close-outs
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing electrical ICI construction projects
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects ($20M+)
- Experience managing projects from early design through commissioning
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Additional Qualifications
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Journeyperson electrician certification (asset)
- Experience with Large Project Builds such as Hospitals, Data Centres
- PMP designation (asset)
- Experience with project management tools such as Procore or MS Project
Compensation: This role expects to pay between $125-155k. 4 weeks vacation. Full Manulife Benefits package; 4-5% pension matching
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$125,000 and CA$150,000
