Job Description:
Our client is a leader in the responsible development and reliable and safe operation of North American energy infrastructure. They are one of the continent’s largest providers of gas storage and related services.
They are currently looking for a Project Manager (Intermediate) for their Calgary, AB location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple high-priority projects simultaneously as the primary interface.
- Apply project management concepts, practices, and processes effectively.
- Manage vendors and third-party/internal resources to meet project goals.
- Create programming, space, and furniture plans using AutoCAD.
- Follow organizational processes and internal best practices across project phases.
- Promote safety throughout all project stages.
- Communicate clearly and responsively with team members.
- Provide accurate cost estimates, forecasting, and budget analysis.
- Negotiate scope, budget, and timeline changes.
- Advise on products, finishes, materials, and furniture.
- Collaborate across business units and manage workflow.
- Develop project documentation and final summary reports.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and manage client relations.
- Implement change management and continuous improvement.
- Share knowledge and lessons learned with the team.
- Prepare presentations and charts to communicate plans.
- Demonstrate consistent professionalism across all communication channels, including Microsoft Teams and face-to-face engagements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management for Tenant Improvement (TI) projects.
- PMP accreditation is an asset
- Familiarity with PMI-based project lifecycle and construction processes.
- Equivalent education and work experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing and modifying plans.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- Proven interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Experience with procurement Tender, RFQ, and RFP processes.
- Knowledge of furniture systems and commercial interior design programs.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Bluebeam.
- Willingness to travel (10–20% of work schedule).
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$55.00 and CA$70.00
