Job Title: Buyer

Location: Kincardine, ON (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Scope of Work:

  1. Provide support to the Supply Chain team in the development and implementation of a Supply Chain strategy for nuclear components and services,
  2. Gathers and reports metrics to assess effectiveness of purchasing operations,
  3. Performs spend and commodity analysis, iv) Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers,
  4. Displays business acumen in communication with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Qualifications:
  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.  Preferred 1-2 years experience with SAP ERP
  2. Preferred 3-5 years experience with product and service providers or other supplier related interfaces.  Buying experience in the nuclear industry is a strong asset.
  3. Knowledge of Supply Chain practices and methods.
  4. Possess 2-3 years of commodity management experience.
  5. Experience dealing with contract management and negotiations.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$50.00 and CA$80.00
