Job Title: Project Manager – Work Packages
Location: Burnaby, BC (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 months
Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for a Project Manager – Work Packages for their Burnaby location
Role Accountabilities
- Partner with program manager (s) to deliver $5M- $60M annual capital budget
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data with strong analytical skills
- Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively (orally and in writing) to different levels within the organization to report on program progress and escalate issues.
- Foresee, assess, manage, and escalate program risks or roadblocks during execution.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of project management experience or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline
- Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
- Experience in analysis and interpretation of complex financial data with strong analytical skills
- PowerBI experience is considered an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation is considered an asset
- Previous experience in the utility sector is considered an asset
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$56.00 and CA$70.00
